One of the most prominent buildings of national importance, designed by a world famous architect, Edward D. Stone from the United States. The structure is built around star shaped quadrangles measuring 300 feet by 200 feet.
The seven storeyed high structure is at split level, and tucked into the 2nd highest hill in Islamabad, overlooking the Secretariat. The project consisted of offices, the residence of the President, several suits for visiting heads of states, banquet and reception halls, swimming pools with an oriental fountain network and landscaping including internal roads networks. The building is also facilitated with under-ground Air-raid shelters and heli-pads. The covered area of the project is over 425,000 square feet.
