Client: Board of Governors, NWFP Architect: PEPAC Area: 850,000 SFT This project comprises of hospital and college buildings,for Ayub Medical College, situated in the valley of Abbottabad. The construction involved RCC Framed structure on 240 Nos.22 inch dia.concrete piles.The hospital complex consists of multi-storeyed building blocks, having a capacity of 1058 beds. The facility includes a teaching hospital, emergency units, auxiliary blocks, and three independent surgical units with indoor and outdoor facilities. The entire blocks are integrated and connected on each floor, with Reinforced concrete corridors and walkways. The buildings are facilitated with modern electrical circuitry having fire alarm systems, intercom and remote paging systems. The covered area of the complex is 850,000 square feet.Road infrastructure and dual carriage ways were also constructed.
